Member Benefits

AIA West Virginia has been recognized, in the past, by the National Component of AIA for having the highest percentage of AIA members to licensed architects in the State.

The West Virginia chapter provides to their members, for little or no cost, approximately 26 hours of annual continuing education at the five state-wide chapter meetings (January, March, May, September, November) which includes the two day March West Virginia Construction and Design EXPO held in conjunction with the Engineers and Contractors and bi-monthly lunch and learn seminars. In addition, we host annual gatherings such as our Annual Design Awards Gala/Scholarship Benefit in April and a fall Golf Tournament.

Our members take pride in their part to influence legislation that shape policies in West Virginia to protect the environment and protect the Health, Safety and Welfare of our citizens.

We are proud to partner with our friends at AIA Virginia and the Virginia components as members of AIA’s Region of the Virginia’s.
