In its fourth decade of service, McKinley Architecture and Engineering is a full-service architectural and engineering firm that designs educational, commercial/retail, industrial, governmental and institutional buildings.

McKinley Architecture and Engineering is growing and in need of a full-time registered architects, designers, CAD technicians, and interns to join our team. McKinley Architecture and Engineering is seeking qualified individuals that will be able to acclimate quickly and “hit the ground running”.
Architectural Designer responsibilities will include:
·       Assisting with the production of drawings from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents.
·       Coordinating with consulting engineers and product vendors.
·       Assisting with construction administration.
·       Working with intermediate or senior level staff to review work for intent, quality, and precision.
·       Creating renderings, or other graphic documents for meetings, presentations, or submittals.
·       Participating in the ongoing review and improvement of office efficiency and production.
Architectural Designer requirements:
·       Accredited BArch or MArch degree required
·       Revit proficiency required
·       Applicants should have 0-5 years of working experience in schematic design through construction administration phases
·       Registration not required
In addition to having strong architectural design capabilities, the ideal Architectural Designer candidate would be:

  • Served as Project Manager on a substantial number of successful projects of varying sizes & scopes
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional Revit skills within a professional setting.
  • Strong work ethic.

  • Exceptional knowledge of building materials, specifications and construction techniques.
