5. PLANNED GIVING (Bequests & Beneficiary Designations)

Leave a legacy by including WVFA in your will, trust, or beneficiary forms (IRA, 401(k), life insurance).Sample Will Language:  “I give [specific amount / percentage / residue] to West Virginia Foundation for Architecture, a nonprofit organization, EIN 82-1807534, with its principal office at PO Box 813, Charleston, WV 25313, to be used for its general charitable purposes.”​​​Beneficiary Designations:  List “West Virginia Foundation for Architecture” (EIN 82-1807534) on your retirement or insurance account.

If you’re 70½ or older, you may direct a gift from your IRA to WVFA.
